The International Forum on Stem Cells (IFSC) aims to foster international collaborations and multi-disciplinary programs on stem cell biology and translational research, and will be the 9th meeting in 2024. Organized by the Institute of Hematology and Blood Diseases Hospital (IH), Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College (CAMS/PUMC), the national center for research and education in hematology and the largest treatment center for blood diseases in China, the previous eight meetings were well received. Many internationally renowned stem cell researchers, such as Anthony Atala, Hal Broxmeyer, Alan D'Andrea, Elaine Dzierzak, Connie Eaves, Ihor Lemischka, Stuart Orkin, David Scadden, Irving Weissman, Ian Wilmut and many others, came to our meetings as speakers or conference co-chairs.

     This year' IFSC will be held in Tianjin on Oct. 24-25, 2024. IFSC 2024 will focus on stem cells in general, with themes on fundamental stem cell research, regenerative medicine, cell therapy and translational research.
